Social Studies Department Objectives:

7. Interpret and evaluate primary and secondary sources to draw appropriate conclusions (Historical Evidence)

8.  Evaluate how historians' perspectives influence their interpretations of events (Interpretation)

9.  Apply insights about the past to other historical contexts, including the present day (Synthesis)

10.  Understand the impact of history on the lives of everyday people

11.  Understand the role of the United States Constitution in history

12.  Speak and write clearly and concisely while using content specific vocabulary
