The Machine Technology Programs offers students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experiences in hopes of becoming highly skilled, sought after machinists. Through 4 years of study and multiple projects, the Machine Technology students receive training using Lathes, Millers, Surface Grinders and other miscellaneous shop equipment. In addition to refining their precision techniques, students also spend class time working on Computer Aided Drafting design software. Entry level Machinists and Tool and Die Engineers can expect a median average salary of $40,910. according to the 2014 Occupationl Outlook Handbook
