At a spirited Winter Rally on December 23, 2025, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School proudly unveiled refreshed district branding, including a modernized Falcon logo, an official green and gold color palette, a new “DR” typeface, and a comprehensive branding guide designed to bring consistency and cohesion to district materials, apparel, and communications.
The updated branding reflects a thoughtful process rooted in listening, reflection, and community pride. Since arriving in the district, Superintendent Bill Runey has spent significant time engaging with students, staff, alumni, and community members—particularly around perceptions of the high school and its legacy.
“Some of that feedback pointed to real opportunities for growth,” Runey noted, “but it also reinforced something important: perception matters.”
As district leaders took a closer look, they observed that existing branding lacked consistency and did not fully reflect the pride often associated with Dighton-Rehoboth. Multiple Falcon logos were in use, green and gold appeared in numerous variations, and the existing “DR” mark did not clearly connect to the district’s shared history or identity.
At the same time, one powerful symbol continued to surface—appearing in yearbooks, on athletic letter jackets, and throughout long-standing traditions: the classic interlocking, varsity-style “DR.” The refreshed branding intentionally returns to this timeless mark, now paired with a modern design approach and the designation “EST. 1960,” honoring the year the regional district was established.
“That symbol represents excellence, pride, and connection,” Runey explained. “It captures who we are today—Dighton and Rehoboth, two towns interlocked, honoring our legacy while shaping the future of DR. Simply put: Together, We Are DR.”
The branding initiative is not about change for the sake of change, nor is it about nostalgia alone. Instead, it aligns with the district’s long-term strategic vision, DRiving Toward 2030, by honoring the past while clearly and confidently representing who the district is today—and where it is headed.
“Our goal is that when someone walks into our high school or sees us represented in the community, they immediately understand who we are,” Principal Dustin Demers said. “Proud. Consistent. Together.”
Students, families, alumni, and community members joined the school community in the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School gymnasium for the official reveal and to celebrate this exciting next chapter—one that reflects shared history, shared purpose, and a unified future.
Together, #WeAreDR.
